Night-time Relaxation Mocktail

What you Need:

4-5 oz Organic Tart Cherry Juice

1 scoop of Magnesium Powder of Choice


4-5 oz of Bubbly Drink of Choice

How to Assemble:

Fill up cup with ice

Pour your cherry juice in cup

Scoop in your mag powder

Mix mag and juice up

Top with bubbly drink



I have been enjoying this on the regular for the past few months and I love it. I recently got my hubby to try it and he noticed a difference the first night. He’s now been drinking them nightly with me for 2-weeks now :) So, if my hubby says how much of a difference he is noticing then I know it is most def worth sharing...he tends to be less excitable than I am and way more analytical. (ha ha)

Why drink Tart Cherry Juice?

Tart Cherries are loaded with antioxidants, potassium, manganese, magnesium, copper, iron, and Vit A.

It also contains naturally occurring melatonin which is a vital hormone that regulates one’s sleep and wake cycles.

Tart Cherries also help one’s recovery after exercise or intense activity in helping reduce inflammation, muscle recovery, and may help speed up one’s recovery.

Studies have also found that having tart cherries helps to reduce blood levels of uric acid and supports the kidneys filtration process. All of this aides in the balancing of your electrolytes and elimination of waste via kidneys.

Why add in magnesium?

Magnesium is a vital mineral that helps with over 300 bodily functions.

It helps with blood pressure, bone health, the heart, muscle health, the nervous system, balancing neurotransmitters, anxiety, depression, inflammatory markers in the body, sleep quality and any sleep issues, bowel movements, and so on.

Did you know that stress can use up and burn up your magnesium storages?

You don’t have to take a supplement, but I do typically advise my clients to do so as today’s soil quality is lacking lots of nutrients due to lack of regenerative farming practices. Taking a high quality magnesium supplement just acts as extra insurance that you are getting it in.

You can get magnesium in foods you eat such as dark leafy greens, high quality Cacao (not cocoa, but CACAO), organic pumpkin seeds, edamame, black beans, and avocados.
